Divided into two regions Baix (lower) Empordà and Alt (upper) Empordà, this is the area of Spain that has long been a favourite of ours. We are now able to share this with you through our own holiday programme.
This area has a divergence of captivating ‘discoveries’ to be made. The mountains and foothills of the Pyrénées to the north, give way to medieval hilltop villages and market towns. A spectacular coastline of coves, beaches, cliffs and fishing harbours borders the azure Mediterranean Sea. The interesting city of Girona is a short drive away, and Barcelona is within easy reach. Whilst in Empordà, there are endless opportunities of indulging in your favourite or trying new activities, including superb golf courses, cycling and walking routes, spa retreats, water sports, and many more.
